A SARAGUAY HOUSE WEDDING IN HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA

This day was full of surprises in terms of the weather. The forecast was changing constantly (which was very Nova Scotian), but we were so glad that Emily and Noah were able to have their ceremony outdoors overlooking the beautiful view of the northwest arm at Saraguay House.

These two embraced the day as it happened. Emily got ready at the Brewery Park Hotel in Halifax with her girls and some family while Noah was at home with the boys and their cat, Lucy who made a special appearance on the blog below. They chose to do a first look at Sir Sanford Fleming Park (Dingle Park) and while there were strong wind gusts present, we all just laughed it off until we had to leave for the ceremony (also because it was getting quite chilly!). We then headed to Saraguay House for the ceremony and reception — we always look forward to weddings held at this venue as everything can be done there and there is always a great back up plan to move the ceremony indoors should the weather not cooperate. In this case, Emily and Noah were still able to have an outdoor ceremony before the rain poured during their first kiss! Caitlin of Gray Weddings and Events helped plan this lovely wedding with gorgeous florals from Twig and Twine Floristry which brightened up the whole space beautifully! You could just feel the love overflow from the people they surrounded themselves with!

Here are some scenes from the wedding.
